Evie and all girls in Year 3 have done an excellent job of embodying the school value of ‘Kindness’ lately with their support for a charity close to their hearts, War Child.
To start with, Evie gave a brilliant talk about War Child to the whole of Pre-Prep and Junior School in assembly. She was incredibly courageous in standing up and delivering a very insightful and thought-provoking presentation about the work of the charity and how big a difference fundraising can make to the lives of children affected by war.
Year 3 then banded together to organise a scrumptious bake sale and raise funds for War Child last Friday. With desserts going down a treat, the sale was a spectacular success and concluded with empty plates, full tummies and a whopping £392 in donations.
They should be very proud of themselves – Evie and Year 3 have inspired us all!
