Our amazing Sixth Formers have begun offering bespoke academic mentoring to Year 11s at Paignton Academy, sharing their subject know-how with younger students readying for GCSEs!
This revolutionary new initiative will have Sixth Form girls video chatting with students in Paignton to explain different topics, walk them through activities and overall give them another level of academic support. Additionally, our mentors have the amazing opportunity to deepen their understanding of their A-level subjects through explaining it to their mentee, as well as developing their leadership and communication skills.
After this week’s successful first session, it’s clear that you’d be very hard-pressed to find a friendlier and more helpful set of Sixth Formers anywhere!
