Upper 4 (Year 9), Lower 5 (Year 10) and Lower 6 (Year 12) had the privilege of listening to the emotional testimony of Holocaust survivor Mala Tribich MBE yesterday morning during the annual Holocaust Memorial Day webcast.
Organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust to mark the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, this webcast saw thousands of schools, organisations and individuals from across the UK come together to listen to Mala retell her experiences in her own words, so that her story can continue to inspire action against antisemitism and hatred. It was an invaluable and profound experience for all who attended, an unforgettable memory to take forward.
