We have kicked off the term in fine style and our recent prowess in both hockey and netball bodes extremely well for the season ahead.
Our U15 hockey team has progressed through to the next round of the Independent Schools Hockey Cup after a convincing victory over Truro School. Likewise, the U17 netball team eventually sealed victory over Wycliffe College in a nail-bitingly close match (41-37) to secure their place in the next round of the Independent Schools Netball Cup.
Last Wednesday 21 September, the U18 and U14 netball teams were victorious over Truro School in some thrilling matches, both finishing on the same score of 29-24. Whilst playing their absolute hardest, the U16 were defeated on this occasion but the future bodes well with some excellent contributions by all the team members.
The fixtures calendar for the week ahead is typically busy and we excitedly anticipate matches against Millfeld, St Peter’s, Exeter School and Blundell’s in the coming week.
