Whilst it is certainly true that our students achieve extraordinary things, we firmly believe that they are able to do so because they are happy at school. The small size of the Maynard as well as its single-sex nature, allow our girls to be just that – girls!
A Maynard education is very much more than about purely academic achievement and we pride ourselves on our all-round, holistic education. Opportunity absolutely abounds and, unlike in larger schools, every individual can find their niche – whether that be in the classroom, on the sports fields, as members of our choirs, drama productions, Young Enterprise, debating or even Ten Tors Teams. There simply isn’t the chance of being overlooked as part of a mass crowd vying for places.
