The History department were thrilled to visit Buckland Abbey with our delightful Lower 4 yesterday. The former home of Sir Francis Drake was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the students were treated to fascinating facts about the Tudor celebration of Christmas on our tour, alongside learning about Drake’s circumnavigation of the globe.
Undoubtedly, the highlight for many was seeing Mr Tabb and Dr Keen dressed in Tudor costume. Our students impressed us with their enthusiastic questions to our guides and exemplary behaviour throughout the day. Well done Lower 4!
