A visit to the National Apprenticeship Show

A group of forward-thinking girls from Upper 5 (Year 11) to Upper 6 (Year 13) had an insightful visit to the National Apprenticeship Show at Sandy Park yesterday.

The show was an exciting opportunity for students to learn about different career paths, explore apprenticeship opportunities, and obtain information on career development. Exhibitors from a huge range of sectors were in attendance, including the Royal Navy, Stagecoach, the Met Office, Müller and more.

Everyone grabbed the chance to network with both hands! After a host of meaningful conversations and fun activities (including an obstacle challenge at the Army stand!), girls came away with a better picture of the variety of options available to them beyond their school career.
