Years 5 and 6 greatly enjoyed their recent art workshops with artist Steve McCracken, working together to create a striking collection of stylistic birds in full bold colour. Steve’s art is easily recognisable and he is known for the cheery works seen brightening the streets of Exeter: now the art from our Junior girls will be doing the same throughout the building.
The art is part of a celebration of the life of much-loved late teacher and TA, Mrs. Haworth. The trail of bright birds will form an art trail around school and lead to the library/thrive room which will be redecorated in memory of Mrs. Haworth. Steve will also create a mural in this room as part of the redecorating.
