We have enjoyed another exceptional week of sport across the School, culminating on Friday 7 October with our U14 team qualifying for the Regional Hockey Finals after some stunning performances (unbeaten in their pool) in the County Finals at the University of Exeter.
Earlier in the week, the U18 hockey team just missed out on qualifying for the Regionals after suffering a narrow defeat in the semi-finals of the County tournament held at Blundell’s School. Everyone played their part and their defence was remarkable with not one goal being conceded throughout all three of their pool matches.
Fresh from their victory against Millfield, the U14 netball team continued their winning ways at the National Schools Area tournament on Wednesday 5 October and swept through to the Regional Finals which will held on 28 November.
Further down the school, the U10 hockey team enjoyed their first tournament of the season on Saturday 1 October winning their final match against St Peter’s Lympstone to finish on a high note! Without doubt, there is a lot of potential to tap into with this year group and we look forward to some good sport in the coming months.
