The wonderful Maynard Chamber Choir put on a beautiful performance in the chapel of the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital on Monday, raising the spirits of patients from the dementia ward, their families and members of staff. It was a wonderful afternoon and hugely appreciated by the audience, not to mention incredibly fulfilling for the Choir as well, and more and more people kept stopping by after hearing the lovely music floating down the corridor. The final piece, ‘Close To You’, even had everyone singing along!
Afterwards, the dementia staff team kindly shared rave reviews, “being told by patients that the variety of singing, the music, was outstanding.” What delightful feedback and a perfect end to a very happy day for all involved!
