Geography trip to the Eden Project

Upper 3 (Year 7) went to the Eden Project on Wednesday 5 February as part of their Geography course and took part in workshops about ‘Rainforest Adaptations’ and ‘Natural Selection’. They were able to use their existing knowledge of adaptations to apply this to the rainforest and learnt some very clever ways to survive!

The girls explored the biomes in search of specific species that have become adapted to the unique conditions that the rainforest presents. They sketched the identified species and asked some brilliant questions – the Eden Staff even commented on how much positive energy they had and their wonderfully inquisitive minds!
