A huge well done to all our junior girls who took part in the Stover Prep Schools Cross Country races on Tuesday 28 February. Without exception, they all tried their absolute hardest over some really testing courses.
Our Under 9 team finished in 4th place with some amazing individual performances, including Ava Hepburn who finished 2nd, Darcey Carroll (4th) and Rose Gordon Clark (14th). The Under 11s had a tougher course (which included a lap of the aptly named “torture field”!) and finished in 12th place overall.
A special mention goes to Rhiannon Cooper (Year 6) who stopped to help a struggling competitor who she had recognised as her opponent from a recent netball match!. She comforted her and then ran alongside her with her arm around her until they finished. Great sportsmanship!
