Congratulations to Isabel Board in Year 5, who won a gold medal in the 200m backstroke and a bronze for the 200m freestyle at the Tiger Bay Open Meet in Cardiff on 18-19 March 2017.
Isabel swims in the Competitive Development Squad for the Exeter Swimming Club but rarely has the opportunity to compete in a 50m pool such as the one in Cardiff. Said one onlooker: “She was amazing in front of a vast crowd!”
