Girls in Lower 4 (Year 8) and Upper 4 (Year 9) had a wonderful time on their trip to Chateau d’Ebblinghem in France, travelling across the Channel to put their budding linguistic skills to good use and explore French culture together.
They enjoyed a bumper selection of activities and trips, with visits to Boulangerie d’Escoeuilles (where they had a go at baking French bread), Nausicaa Sea Centre (Europe’s biggest aquarium), La Halte d’Autrefois goat farm, a local market and supermarket, La Coupole (a Second World War bunker complex) and Les Chocolats de Beussent factory. As if this wasn’t enough, everyone also got stuck in with fun back in Chateau d’Ebblinghem – a French cheese-tasting simply couldn’t be missed!
Mme Smith shares that the girls behaved impeccably throughout and had such a lovely time engaging with all the experiences on offer. What a fabulous trip all around!
