Drama at The Maynard is absolutely flying, the latest amazing performance being yesterday’s showing of ‘The Wolves of Willoughby Chase’ starring our incredible Lower 4 (Year 8)!
A thrilling adventure set in an alternative history of England, this adaptation of a classic children’s novel told the story of two brave and determined girls as they fought against ferocious wolves, snowy wastelands and their very evil guardians, Miss Letitia and Miss Cynthia Slighcarp. The Lower 4 actors all did a spectacular job of bringing the story to life on stage – huge congratulations and bravo to them, as well as to Mrs Briscoe and Mrs Bellamy for once again coordinating such a fabulous show!
