We couldn’t be more excited for term to start again this week, and amongst welcoming students new and old to another fantastic year at The Maynard, we’re completely over the moon to also be introducing our brilliant Lower and Upper Sixth (Years 12 and 13) to their very own brand spanking new Sixth Form Centre!
This summer, the old building has been completely refurbished and transformed into a beautiful modern space. Our visionary student focus group were instrumental in its design and advised on key aspects like furniture choice and colour scheme to make it a truly tailored oasis for studying and socialising. The ‘outdoors indoors’ approach to decor also adds soothing colour and relaxation value – overall, a perfect area for life in the Sixth Form.
The lovely Lower Sixth will be the first to enjoy the new building at tomorrow’s induction, so stay tuned for more updates as this year’s superstar Sixth Formers settle in!
