Congratulations to our ‘Sports Performance of the Month’ nominees who, for November, are:
- The U18 Hockey Squad who have qualified as one of the top two teams in the West for the National Finals at the Olympic Lee Valley Park in March.
- The Junior Girls Swim Squad who competed recently at the ESSA Secondary Schools Team Championship at the 2012 London Olympic Aquatic Centre, finishing 26th nationally from over 300 schools.
- The Intermediate and Senior Girls Cross Country Team. All four girls have qualified to compete in the Devon Championships in January.
- Gymnasts, Flo and Connie, who both won silver in their respective levels at the Devon Women’s Artistic Gymnastics competition. Flo won the FIG silver medal following a fantastic 2nd on bars, vault and floor and 1st on beam. Meanwhile, in the Level 3 competition, Connie scooped the silver after finishing 5th on the vault, 4th on the floor and 2nd on the beam and bars.
The winner will be announced in the final end of term assembly.
