The ever-popular Food & Nutrition room has been a hive of activity over recent weeks, playing host to the recent GCSE practical assessments (26 – 28 February 2019) and numerous other mouth-wateringly delicious culinary ventures. The Upper 5 girls kept incredible calm throughout their three hour assessments, holding their nerve to produce a three course meal of the highest standard and involving a huge degree of difficulty, whether it was making their own pasta or pastry right through to topping the whole plate off with some incredible artistry.

Elsewhere, the Lower 4s have been baking delicate crackers to their own recipes and our guests to the recent Discovery Morning on Saturday 9 March kept with the ‘Ocean’ theme by baking some beautiful octopus breads, much to the delight of their parents who called in to collect them in time for lunch!
