BRILLIANT NEWS (and well timed, on this National Girls And Women In Sports Day!) from our absolutely amazing U15 cricketers! The team have only gone and WON every single game of yesterday’s Chance to Shine cricket competition, sailing straight through to the county round!
Playing the likes of Blundells, Mount Kelly, Stover, Trinity, Plymouth College and West Buckland is no easy feat, especially considering that cricket is one of our newer Maynard sports, making this fantastic achievement all the more special. To do so incredibly well, it’s clear that their hard work and use of tactics and teamwork is truly star quality! HUGE congratulations to every one of our utterly fab cricket players and the very best of luck to them for the counties coming up on the 13th of March!
