Last week, our lovely Year 4s enjoyed a fabulous trip to the Double Elephant Print Workshop, based at the Phoenix Arts Centre here in Exeter, to learn all about the world of printmaking. Guided by super talented artist, Simon Ripley, the girls loved exploring a range of exciting hands-on techniques, from monoprints to collagraphs!
The studio was buzzing with creativity, colour and inky fingers as they experimented with different styles, textures and patterns to create some gorgeous artworks on the theme of animals in their habitats. It was a fun and action-packed day with remarkable results!
