Huge congratulations to our two Year 6 teams that took part in the Rotary Club Youth Speaks competition on Wednesday 11 January 2017!
Maisy Crook, Dawn Webberley and Megan Byrne spoke on “Should humans colonise Mars” whilst Sasha Hayes, Marianna Clarkson and Phoenix Wilson argued whether “Food & Nutrition should be a core curriculum subject”.
Both teams performed brilliantly, with the main speaker required to talk for an epic four minutes on their chosen subject. We were delighted that the Food & Nutrition team qualified to represent the school at the next stage of the competition in February.
